Communication made way more easy.. know how

Communication is derived from a latin word communis which means ''to share''.
in short Communication is defined as the process of understanding and sharing meaning.

we all know that communication is very much important in every area, whether it's a business, or a school, an organisation, or under any profession. communication plays a vital role in successful running of daily functions within an organisation. As all the tasks of a business are  either in a verbal mode or a non verbal mode, but verbal communication is being considered more understandable and clear. that doesn't means that non- verbal communication has no significance, but rather it is more stronger in terms of communication and sending direct messages to the receiver. the level of understanding totally depends upon the individual's cognitive ability and knowledge and more...

as we know that communication is carried out in every area mostly. In our home and day-to-day activities we do a lot of communication, we uses a lot of medium to send messages.
Thanks to the internet and broadband facilities that have emerged the way of communicating to someone in a way lot easier and efficient manner. And the advancement of technology has led shape generations. Also the change in time too supports the fast and new era of upcoming generations, which ultimately give rise to development of newer and efficient as well as effective technology driven communication channels.

In this article we'll come over some important points to make communication more easier, better, and effective.
The below mentioned points are not supposed to be executed in this particular and systematic order only,
it also depends on the sender that he/ she may interpret and consider any of the following points according to their preference, and significant according to the situation.

1. The Message
first a sender should know what he is going to communicate, he should focus on 'what' is the 'message'.
as a message should be concise and clear, if there's no message or a data then sharing nothing to the receiver will make no sense.
The language- make sure the message you want to communicate to the receiver should be understandable to him.
The coding- if a sender is coding his message you have to make sure that the message can be easily decodable and by the receiver too.
The Interest & understandability- if you want a message to be easily understood by the receiver also that it can produce any output, then make sure the message is upto the interest and knowledge of the receiver.

2. The Mode
For a message to be easily transmitted by a channel, choose a channel according to the suitability and requirements of the message.
for ex- if a sender is an employee and receiver is a boss and the employee wants a send a leave application, then preferably he cannot directly go to the manager and ask for a leave instead he will write an application for leave and share it to his boss or will ask his superior to consider it and forward it to his boss.
therefore the medium is dependant on the message and the environment too.

Also please look if there is any noise in the channel or any barriers.
As barriers lead to the distortion of messages and noise affects the understandability of the receiver,
and interrupt the whole message making it difficult for the receivers to understand the message.

3. Feedback
To know how the message has been delivered to the receiver and what he understood, we need to make sure to receive a feedback form the receiver so that later we can improvise the areas which had deviations in the channel and the whole communication process. verbal and non- verbal communication can be Oral and Non- Oral.

4. Be a good listener
I've heard this mostly that in order to communicate and interpret facts and data. we must be a good listener then only we will be able to completely understand what the receiver is saying, and wanted to converse.

5. Influence on time
Time is most important aspect one should consider while communicating, especially in terms of message it should be short and easy to transfer from the medium and easily understandable.

6. Conduct an inquiry
two way communication is the most effective communication. one should not only focus on transferring the message to the receiver but also to ask the feedback as discussed earlier and asking the relevant questions about the message in order to know if the person really understood the message in a right way or not.
for ex- in a classroom lecture when teacher has explained a topic, post that he/she asks questions related to that topic so as to come into conclusion whether the students have understood that topic in a right way or not.

7. The 7 C's
last but not the least go through the 7 C's of communication in order to make your communication more effective and efficient.
the 7 C's of communication are:-
clarity, correctness, conciseness, courtesy, concreteness, consideration and completeness.

Help others in transferring knowledge, make others too more professional in communication.
